A big “Thank You” to the parents, students and teachers who participated in our recent survey regarding the Best Choice/Thrive Program. Fort  Zumwalt has used Best Choice presenters in our middle and high schools to supplement our curriculum in the area of human sexuality for many years.

Survey results have been shared with our Board of Education and we will review this information as we move forward.

Please note: Missouri state statute 170.015 calls for school districts to “present abstinence from sexual activity as the preferred choice of behavior in relation to all sexual activity for unmarried pupils.”  The Thrive/Best Choice program presents students with a school-based abstinence/sexual risk avoidance program curriculum for students in grades 6-12.
